Lempisaaristo®
Put your favorite island on the tiles!
The unique Lempisaaristo® tile series is implemented individually for each customer. The idea is that you can select your favorite area from any archipelago on the map, such as Saimaa, Turku or the Greek archipelago. On the map, you can target the red heart to your favorite place. Your favorite place can be your own cottage, dear rock or even a favorite place for sailing trips. The Lempisaaristo® map is burned onto the tile. One tile measures 20 x 20 cm.
Lempisaaristo® is designed by Tea Kuikko (Kuviopaja) and the product is sold by Reatek Tiles. High-quality, hard-wearing tiles are made to order in Italy.

Who
I am Tea Kuikko, a graphic designer and an entrepreneur at Kuviopaja. I love British humor, Sunday Mornings and lemon curd toast.
Designing visual identities is my speciality. I am also excited in creating fresh patterns for contemporary surface designs.
Eyes see and feel a great deal – more than words can convey. Graphic design is sensuous – it’s about what we feel when we touch a surface: paper, cloth or a bottle of shampoo.
I take in smells and tastes also when not at work. How does the forest smell? What it feels like to take a dip in an ice-cold lake? Idleness is also very important: both at work and at leisure.
I dance twice a week. Inner corset and basics are damn important. It’s good to get your feet off the ground every now and again and just let go.
Same applies to graphic design.
